The PraiseHive Ad Case Study

PraiseHive is a platform that collects and showcases testimonials from your satisfied customers on your website.

When we looked at the PraiseHive website, their branding, their choice of colors and most importantly what their business was about, we knew we had to make a video that was absolutely unique and would make the brand pop!

The Challenge

Every business has one major need - to make sales and this need is the same across companies of all sizes and our team has the core tsk to deliver a video the shows how social proof can drive more sales. To achieve this , we needed to understand the minimum timespan that a user needs to spend on a content to be engaged and furthermore spark some interest, and with that we came up with some very important constraints that affects users engagements like, video duration, colors, and video script.

The Hook Is Everything

The video started with a strong hook, "How can I build social proof?". We needed an instant attention grabber when scripting the video. It's most important we bring the problem up immediately at the beginning to grab the attention of the viewer. The leading object here is the circular ball. It was used to control the viewers eye and make the story flow seamlessly.

Using a Leading Object

The leading object here is the circular ball. It was used to control the viewers eye and make the story flow seamlessly. Eye control is key in video content. You don't want your viewer missing the essence of any of the scenes and the ball did just that in a couple of scenes.

Strong Scene Contrast

We suddenly are in a world of testimonials. We used contrast between the two scenes to exaggerate the importance of testimonials. Going from a scene with a lot of white space to a screen filled with testimonials.

Introducing PraiseHive

In less than 12 seconds, we were already talking about the PraiseHive brand. We don't need viewers scrolling too quickly without hearing the solution we are offering. Still keeping the leading object (the ball) in sight, we reveal the PraiseHive logo in a Hive-Like Tunnel. Making the balls travel through the Hive to reveal the PraiseHive Logo. This scene was designed with branding in mind.

Using the PraiseHive UI

In order to add a much more personal touch, we included a little bit of the PraiseHive user interface while focusing on the advantageous aspect of the product and how it solves the user's problem. Create Customizable forms on our platform to collect testimonials and embed them on your website in a few clicks.

A Strong Closing Scene

The last scene is a very iconic scene. "Use the power of social proof to drive more sales". Our thought process here was to add reviews into the hive tunnel to indicate social proof. The swift move through the tunnel signifies the buyers journey while seeing reviews from other users which is very typical in any buying process.
